Guardian to feature "Walking with Nomads"
Just back from our "Walking with Nomads" exploratory departure through the Jebel Saghro. The trip and the whole concept of walking with a nomad family (following a yearly migration) worked really well. There will be two departures - part 1 and part2 - for the autumn to follow the migration in the reverse direction. A perfect trip for those wanting to get away from the modern world and see real life as it is for the Ait Atta nomads. The whole story will be featured in The Guardian's Saturday travel section.

Walking with nomads
Just back from an exploratory trip in the Jebel Saghro. The new itinerary Walking with Nomads will start as an exploratory trip open to the public in May. This is a unique trek that follows the migration of the Ait Atta nomads from the Jebel Saghro to the High Atlas. Thanks to Zaid and his family who welcomed us with open arms and lots of mint tea and have shown great enthusiasm over the proposed May trip.

Marathon (or should that be Snickers?)
Yesterday saw Marrakech host the 18th Marathon de Marrakech. 6000 competitors from around the world took part in the half and full marathon events. Our director has vowed to run in the 2008 race and we will be organising Marathon weekender packages including accommodation, race subscription and post-marathon party. It's a great escape in winter and is regarded as one of the world's most exotic races. Email us for details or keep a look out for programme information on our site in the next couple of weeks.

Head to sunnier climbs
After a successful autumn season of mountain biking through the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara, the winter has been spent researching some exciting new routes for the spring and summer seasons. New for the summer is the unique Three-Peaks Challenge which offers trekkers the chance to conquer North Africa's three highest mountains in 10 days of Epic hiking. It's aimed at regular hill walkers and is a fairly strenuous grade 4.

Low Cost Flights
Flight prices to Morocco are tumbling. Have a look at the new fares on Ryan Air, Atlas Blue and Easy Jet. We've found Ryan Air fares for as little as £5 from London to Marrakech. The usual principles of booking early to access the cheapest fares apply.
