| Sirwa Trek |

Wondrous landscapes and rich rural culture collide in Morocco's magical Sirwa
The Sirwa range lies between the High Atlas and Anti-Atlas mountains and offers some of the best trekking in Morocco. It's a unique and remote landscape of plateaux, gorges and wonderful villages where the local people have made subsistence agriculture an artform. It's also a seldom-visited region where traditional values remain firmly in tact, a product, in part, of the region's isolation from the rest of Morocco. On our journey from the saffron market-town of Taliouine to the Tislit gorge and beyond, we climb the range's highest mountain - J'bel Sirwa - a summit that offers arguably the best view in Morocco. On trek most nights are spent under canvas in wilderness areas although we also use village houses as a way of offering an added insight into Berber family life. The easy-going nature of this trek makes it ideal for occasional or regular hill walkers and represents one of the most unspoilt, beautiful and culturally absorbing hikes in Morocco.
